The Power of Storytelling
The human brain is hardwired for story! In fact, our brain is a story processing wonder! We think, learn and retain information in images that our brain translates into meaning. Imagining is the part of story listening experience that feels so good.
When we listen to a story, several parts of our brain engage at the same time to bring memory, emotion, desire, motivation, empathy, imagination and knowledge to the listening experience. Amazing!
That is why we can sit in the same room with others, listen to a story, laugh, cry, and be entertained but have our own unique experience.
